The river Maigue, which runs throught
the village of Adare, provides fishing and trekking opportunities.

Adare is considered to be the
most picturesque village in Ireland with beautiful thatched cottages,
three monasteries and a mediaeval castle.

the N21 Dublin/Limerick - Kerry road 2km from Adare, 15km from Limerick
city and a 1 hour drive from Killarney. Shannon Airport and Kerry Airport

House is located 2km from the centre of the village of Adare, just
off the N21 Limerick to Killarney road.
From Limerick
From
Limerick take the N21 Limerick to Killarney road. Drive 16km to
Adare. Continue on the N21 for 1km past the junction for the R519
road to Ballingarry. Turn left at the next signposted crossroads
(Cappagh L8025 is signposted to the right). Drive for 300 metres
to a gate on the left hand side with Barnalick House on the on the
piers of the gate. Go through the gate and drive for 200 metres
up the avenue. The house will become visible 100 metres up the avenue.
Drive into the courtyard where there is ample parking space.
From Killarney
From
Kerry take the N21 Killarney to Limerick. After the passing the
village of Croagh continue on the N21 to Limerick. Take the 2nd
signposted right turn after Smithfield Service Station (where Cappagh
L8025 is signposted to the left). Drive for 300 metres to a gate
on the left hand side with Barnalick House on the on the piers of
the gate. Go through the gate and drive for 200 metres up the avenue.
The house will become visible 100 metres up the avenue. Drive into
the courtyard where there is ample parking space.
